Join us on Wednesday 23rd September, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at North Yorkshire Water Park, for a free Community Water Safety Event.

This informative event brings together a range of emergency services and partner agencies dedicated to keeping people safe in and around water.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from local Coastguard and Mountain Rescue Teams, alongside other safety organisations, who will be providing practical advice and demonstrations on:

✅ Staying safe around rivers, lakes, reservoirs and the coast
✅ Recognising water-related risks and hazards
✅ What to do if you find yourself in difficulty in the water
✅ How to help someone else safely without putting yourself at risk
✅ The correct action to take in a water-related emergency
✅ Essential lifesaving tips that could help save a life

Whether you're a swimmer, paddleboarder, angler, walker, sailor, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this event offers valuable advice for people of all ages.
